A man has been taken to hospital after he was stabbed at a house in Lambeth.
Police were called at 2.35pm yesterday (July 25) to reports of a man stabbed at a home in Exchange Gardens.
Emergency services attended the scene and a man in his 20s was taken to hospital for treatment.
His condition is not life threatening.
A man and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and remain in custody.
Investigations into the incident continue.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at approximately 14:35hrs on Monday, 25 July to reports of a man stabbed at an address in Exchange Gardens, SW8.
“Officers, London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended – a man, believed aged in his 20s, was taken to hospital for treatment; his condition is not life threatening.
“Two people – a man and a woman – were arrested on suspicion of GBH and remain in custody.
“Enquiries into the circumstances continue.”
