Police investigating the suspected creation and sale of fake Covid-19 vaccination records have charged two people.
The Crown Prosecution Service authorised detectives to charge the individuals following an investigation by the Metropolitan Police's cyber crime team.
Wayne Knight, 37, of Ilford was charged with conspiracy to gain unauthorised access to computer material, contrary to section 1 of Criminal Attempts Act 1977.
Friha Farid, 28, of South Woodford was charged with conspiracy to gain unauthorised access to computer material, contrary to section 1 of Criminal Attempts Act 1977.
They are both due to attend Barkingside Magistrates' Court Court on Wednesday September 7.
