A new KFC restaurant in Norbury has recently opened its doors, bringing 20 jobs to the local area.
KFC’s newest location can be found at 1509 London Road in Norbury and was officially opened on Monday (August 8).
The beloved fast-food restaurant has created 20 new jobs in the community and is still welcoming applications for those keen to join the team.
The new fast-food restaurant will take part in KFC’s food redistribution partnership with FareShare.
Launched earlier this summer, the programme sees FareShare link charities and community groups with their local KFC, through FareShare Go, advising them of any food available to collect.
This ensures food is donated to those that need it most in the area, whilst preventing food waste.
The restaurant will also be working with the KFC Foundation, which supports grassroots organisations that empower young people.
Angelina Mouralidarane, Commercial Director of KFC franchisee Iceking Group said: “I’m so pleased to be opening another restaurant in South London, providing everyone’s favourite fried chicken.
“We’re also keen to give back to the community that has already welcomed us so well, so it’s amazing to be able to deliver new jobs to the area, whilst supporting the KFC Foundation and food donation schemes at the same time.”
