A woman has raised more than a £1,000 for charity and donated her hair to children with cancer in memory of her son.
Lisa Cole, 60, from Great Dunmow, had more than half her hair cut off on Saturday, August 27, at Gary Pellicci Hairdressing in Ongar.
It marked 30 years to the day when her son Jamie died only hours after he was born.

The hair has been donated to The Little Princess Trust where it will be made into wigs for children who have lost their hair to cancer.
Ms Cole said the £1,305 raised will go to Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society (Sands), “as they helped support me so much when I lost Jamie".
