Tory mayoral candidate Boris Johnson has launched a scheme that aims to tackle anti-social behaviour on public transport.
Under Mr Johnson's Payback London scheme, under-18s who misbehave on busses will have their passes confiscated.
Mr Johnson said they will then have to complete unpaid work such as cleaning graffiti to earn their passes back.
"While the concept of free travel for teenagers has been a good thing, Mayor Livingstone has shown he has lost touch in failing to tackle those who abuse this privilege," said Johnson.
"I will end the something-for-nothing society culture for those who abuse it."
The Tory MP claimed that cracking down on anti-social behaviour would promote "civility on the streets" and uphold the message that it poor behaviour was unacceptable.
