A man has been charged with the murder of Peter Marecheau, the Metropolitan police have confirmed.
Abdelaziz Maaroufi, 25 from Woodside End, Alperton, will appear in Willesden Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, 14 September.
It comes after a murder investigation was launched in Brent after the 67-year-old died in hospital after an alleged assault.
Police were made aware by the London Ambulance Service in the afternoon on Friday, 9 September that a man had been taken to hospital after an incident in Abbey Industrial Estate in Alperton.
A crime scene was put in the area and officers attended the hospital where Peter Marecheau was being treated for a life-threatening head injury.
After three nights of being treated in hospital, Mr Marecheau died on Monday, September 12.
The family of Mr Marecheau have been made aware of the charge and are being supported by specially trained officers.
The investigation is being led by homicide detectives from the Met's Specialist Crime Command.
