A teenage girl has reported to police that she was raped in a wooded area in New Addington.
Officers and London Ambulance Service crews were called to Fetherbed Lane just before 4.40pm yesterday.
The girl was taken to a south London hospital and is now being supported by specialist officers.
Detectives from the south area’s public protection team are leading the investigation.
A crime scene has been put in place.
No arrests have been made following the incident.
Police enquiries are ongoing.

A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 4.36pm on Sunday, 9 October to reports of a teenage girl reporting she had been raped in a wooded area near Fetherbed Lane, New Addington.
“She was taken to a south London hospital.
“Officers attended and spoke to the victim.
“The victim is being supported by specialist officers.
“Detectives from the South Area’s Public Protection team are leading the investigation.
“A crime scene remains in place.
“No arrests have been made. Enquiries continue.
“Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or Tweet @MetCC quoting CAD 5001/09OCT.”
