A new Burger King restaurant is set to open in Penge, creating 30 new jobs in the area.

The American fast food chain will be located in Penge High Street. 

Applications for working at the "Home of the Whopper" have opened and anyone can apply for four out of the five new managerial roles.

The managerial jobs available are a senior assistant manager, two assistant manager roles, and a shift manager.

Successful applicants will enjoy a variety of perks, ranging from flexible hours and free meals at work to 50 per cent off food and drink for friends and family.

The opening date of the Penge branch is unknown. 

People Director of Burger King UK, Jeremy Wright, said: “During what has been a very challenging few years for many businesses, we are delighted to be creating new job and career opportunities in the area, and look forward to welcoming 30 new starters into the Burger King family, at our new Penge restaurant.
