A elderly woman pedestrian was killed in a crash with a lorry.
Police were called to reports of a collision involving a lorry and a pedestrian in Forest Lane, near Forest Gate Railway Station at 10:18am on Wednesday, October 26.
The London Ambulance Service and Metropolitan Police officers attended, but despite the efforts of emergency services, the pedestrian, a woman thought to be aged in her 70s, died at the scene.
Officers are working to inform her next of kin.
The driver of the lorry stopped at the scene.
Police say no arrests were made and any enquiries are ongoing.
