Last night Esher Rugby club wowed the residents of Elmbridge with their annual fireworks display in celebration of guy Fawkes night. For the first time it was completely sold out as the Rugby club was packed with people of all ages coming together to watch the thrilling fireworks display.
Every year Esher Rugby Club puts on a magnificent fireworks display on the first Friday of November in celebration of Guy Fawkes night. Alongside the fireworks there is a BBQ, a bar and a funfair to help fill the whole the absence of the summer fairs we all love have left.
Despite all the fun, the Rugby Club was certainly filled to the brim making it at times hard to get around the fair and especially hard to get a spot with great view of the fireworks. But that is the downside that comes with any great yearly event just as popular as this one.
The fireworks display itself was magical. It had four parts each with different songs accompanying them including Stay the Night by Sigala and Talia Mar and Green Green Grass by George Ezra. Altogether it was just less than 20 minutes in total. The time absolutely flew by due to the music and absolutely breathe taking fireworks.
When the fireworks display came to an end there was a real buzz in the air as children exclaimed to their parents about just how much they had enjoyed the display. And even as you walked to your car it was clear from the smiles on peoples faces that this fireworks display was a roaring success.
