Police are appealing for information after jewellery was stolen from a Lewisham home last weekend.
The burglary took place at a residential address between 11.30am and 6.25pm on Saturday, November 12, near Manor Mount.
During the burglary, a number of items of jewellery were taken and officers are appealing for anyone who is offered these for sale to come forward.
The jewellery is worth an estimated £2,000.
The residents were not at home during the time of the burglary.
Sergeant Sammie Lester of the Met’s South East Command said: “The effects of becoming a victim of burglary should not be underestimated; they can be devastating and run far deeper than a loss of property.
“Much of the jewellery stolen is of highly sentimental value to the victim as it belonged to her mother who died recently.
“I urge anyone who is offered any of the pictured items for sale, or anyone with information about this offence, to get in touch with us.
“Anyone with information should call police on 101 or Tweet @MetCC quoting 6103/12NOV22.
“To remain 100% anonymous call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or visit Crimestoppers-uk.org.”
