A person has died after being hit by a train at Mottingham station.
London Ambulance Service confirmed that it happened at 11.50am today (December 4).
An ambulance crew, an incident response officer, two medics in fast response cars and members of the hazardous area response team attended.
The person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Train services between Sidcup and Lewisham were suspended following the incident.
All lines have reopened as of 3.35pm, according to Southeastern.
We have contacted British Transport Police for further information.
A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 11:50am on 4 December to reports of an incident at Mottingham Railway Station.
"We sent an ambulance crew, an incident response officer, two medics in fast response cars and members of our hazardous area response team.
“Sadly, a person was pronounced dead at the scene."
