Londoners are being warned to wrap up warm this week as the Met Office issues an amber warning of severe weather.
It comes as the forecaster shared that there is a 90% chance of a severe drop in temperatures and icy conditions.
The warning is in place from 6pm Wednesday, December 7 to 8am Monday, December 12, with much of England covered.
Londoners have also been warned of the increased health risk to vulnerable patients, encouraging those at risk to be with others and have access to warm food and drink.

Londoners warned of severe weather
Cold conditions will hit the region as air from the Arctic will spread south across England.
Very cold nights are also expected with widespread frosts and in some areas, potentially severe frost.
During the day, temperatures will be just above freezing with overnight temperatures continuing to trend downwards.
A Met Office spokesperson shared: "This weather could increase the health risks to vulnerable patients and disrupt the delivery of services."
Will it snow in London this Christmas?
London could be in with a chance of a white Christmas this year as weather forecasters predict that snow is heading to the region in the coming weeks.
The Met Office is forecasting that snow could be coming to the region sooner than we think and could be as soon as Friday (December 9).
The forecaster shared that snow is expected at around midday at the end of the week.
