Two men have been charged in connection with a fatal stabbing outside a Wembley venue.

Givani Espuet, from Edgware, was killed after a stabbing outside The Aura in Harrow Road on October 30.

Both suspects have been charged with violent disorder after their arrests on Tuesday (December 20).

This includes Kyle Joseph-Peters, 21, of Salisbury Road in Wood Green, and Reiss Sealy, 29, of Mendip Way in Stevenage.

They are both due to appear at Willesden Magistrates' Court; Sealy will be there today (December 22) and Joseph-Peters on January 6.

Emergency services rushed to the scene after reports of an incident involving 30 people, despite their efforts Givani died a short time later.

The former Claremont High School student was described as a “hard-working” man who could “light up a room” by his girlfriend Christiana Constantinou.

The 21-year-old was said to have a “kind old soul” and his death has been “such a loss”.

Miss Constantinou had spent the whole day with Givani before he left to go to a birthday party at the venue, where a fight erupted inside and spilled outside.

The Aura's licence was at risk as Brent Council reviewed it following the murder.

However, rather than revoke the licence, held by KN Bros, the sub-committee decided The Aura will be required to make changes to its security.

Three security staff accredited by the Security Industry Authority (SIA) need to be on site between Sunday and Thursday from 9pm to close, and five staff on Fridays and Sundays until close.

Other charges

Six other people have been charged with Givani's murder:

Bruce Hutchinson, 29, of no fixed abode, was arrested on November 9 and charged the day after.

Both Sahid Kpaka, 27, of Gladstone Avenue in Wood Green, and Courtney Forrester, 25, of Old Bedford Road in Luton, were arrested and charged on November 10.

Kadeem Hibbert, 29, of no fixed abode, was then arrested on November 11 and charged the day after.

Andre Watson-Browne, 36, of Park Grove in Haringey, was also arrested on November 13.

Theo Simon, 33, of Gladstone Avenue in Wood Green, was previously charged with Givani’s murder on October 31, as well as with possession of an offensive weapon.

They will all appear at the Old Bailey on 19 January 2023.
