A man has been taken to hospital after being rescued from a blazing flat in Chadwell Heath.
The fire in the Gregory Road ground floor flat broke out early on February 21.
Part of the flat was damaged, according to the London Fire Brigade, though a woman was able to leave safely before firefighters arrived. She was treated at the scene by ambulance crews.
A man was rescued from the flat by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and taken to hospital.

Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to the fire, with the LFB contacted at 3.58am. The fire was under control by 5.19am.
Crews from Dagenham, Romford and Hainault fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
