Two teenagers have been charged with attempted murder in connection to a firearms incident at Hackney Central Overground Station.
British Transport Police (BTP) officers attended the station following reports of the incident at 1.29pm on March 1.
A 20-year-old man was found injured with multiple laceration wounds and a single gunshot wound to his leg.
He was taken to a local hospital where he remains in a critical but stable condition.
The station remained closed for more than seven hours following the attack, with the Met Police issuing a Section 60 stop and search authority for the whole borough until 3pm the next day.

A knife was recovered from the scene as well as a bullet and a bullet casing.
The two 16-year-olds were later arrested after Met Police officers conducted a planned stop on a vehicle in Essex Road, Islington, on March 3.
A BTP spokesperson said they have been remanded in police custody and will appear at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court at 10am today (March 6).
