A heartbroken mum has set up a fundraiser to provide a memorial service for her “beautiful” son who was stabbed to death in Lewisham.
Teon Campbell Pitter was attacked as he was walking to Double Jab Boxing gym near the Moonshot Centre on April 13.
Officers, London Ambulance Service crews, and an air ambulance attended and found Teon injured.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Mum Janine-Rochelle Campbell said her whole world fell apart as she received the phone call that Teon had passed away.
Janine explained: “It all happened in the space of 20 minutes after Teon left home.
“At first, I didn’t know the severity of the situation. One of my family members told me the moment he passed away.
“At that moment, my heart just dropped and my whole world fell apart.

“I went to the scene where he was stabbed and when I arrived I saw paramedics were there with him.
“It’s difficult you know. I lost my Teon.”
Teon dreamed to be a professional heavyweight boxer before his life was taken away from him.
He started boxing while he was in primary school and made it his “whole life” by training at the Angus Street gym.
Janine explained: “Teon was a fun and bubbly boy. He was very liked and respected by the community.
“Even when he passed away, we saw the outpour of love for him. They knew and remembered him for who he was.

“And that’s a young boy who just loved boxing.
“He had dreams of finishing college, getting his driving licence, things that normal boys want to do.
“He never even got the chance to fall in love or start his own family.”
A sixteen-year-old, who cannot be named due to legal reasons, was convicted of manslaughter on January 25.
A post-mortem examination gave the cause of Teon’s death as a stab injury to the abdomen.
Janine has since set up a GoFundMe page to raise funds for a gravestone and a memorial service for Teon.
She said the memorial service will bring comfort to her and the family during a “difficult” period in their lives.
She explained: “We’re not asking for much, anything big or small is always appreciated.
“The funds will go towards decorations, cake, food, drinks, music equipment, and everything pertaining to this celebration remembrance day for Teon."
Janine now wants to raise awareness by donating bleed kits and distributing them within her community.
The kits, which costs £85 each, provide bleed kits designed to treat wounds quickly and effectively.
Janine said: “This is something I want to do. I don’t want other mums or families to lose their loved ones.
“Maybe if there was a bleed kit outside Teon’s boxing gym, he might be with us here today.”
