A man has been banned from a Lidl in Lewisham after he assaulted a man in the shop.
Terry Morris, of Sheldon Close in Greenwich, assaulted a man at the Lee High Road supermarket on September 2 last year.
The 51-year-old appeared at Bexley Magistrates’ Court on April 17 where he pleaded guilty to the assault.
He was given a community order including an alcohol treatment requirement requiring him to undergo six months of treatment.
Morris was also banned from entering Lidl on Lee High Road for a year.
The magistrates also ordered Morris to pay compensation of £100.
