Upmarket fast food chain Truffle Burger will open its latest restaurant in north London next month with a giveaway of 500 burgers.

The 30-cover 'finer diner' will open in West End Lane, West Hampstead, serving up their signature burgers - with truffle as the hero ingredient.

“This is a really exciting launch for us," said Tom Bickers, who founded the brand in 2018.

"It's amazing to be opening our seventh site in London after such a fantastic reception. We’ve got a beautiful venue and a strong menu, with some inventive new additions alongside trusty fan favourites - and we can’t wait to show it to the community in West Hampstead!”

Placing high importance on quailty of ingredients, and crafting food with care, Bickers says he is on a mission to serve simple, indulgent and accessible fast food that delivers on flavour.

After starting out with KERB food markets, his 'elevated burgers' developed a cult following at events and festivals such as East London's All Points East, before opening their first bricks and mortar restaurant in Soho in 2020.

They now have sites in St Christopher's Place, Liverpool Street and Stoke Newington Church Street, a permanent stall at Seven Dials Market, and a summer residency on the South Bank.

The West Hampstead restaurant will have an open kitchen, mini dining pods for smaller groups, and an outdoor area seating seating 15 for al fresco beer and burgers in the summer.

The menu is a unique combination of street food and luxury with innovative flavour combinations, including the signature truffle burger with 90-day aged rare breed British beef, melted raclette cheese, home made fig jam black truffle mayo on demi brioche buns, and the truffle honey chicken burger; twice coated buttermilk chicken with bacon ketchup truffle honey, and whipped goats cheese.

Veggies can enjoy the parmesan and truffle fries or deep fried brie and truffle honey.

The move to West Hampstead, is part of plans for a wider expansion across the capital's neighbourhoods to change perceptions on the potential of fast food.

Truffle Burger opens at 311 West End Lane, West Hampstead, on June 2 and will be giving away 500 free burgers on June 3 and 4. Diners must book a table online to redeem the offer which applies to burgers only. Other menu items are available to order and pay for. https://www.truffle-london.co.uk/
