A MAN is currently in custody after being arrested on suspicion of drug supply offences, following a proactive stop from our officers this morning.
Essex Police officers were on patrol close to the M11 at around 4.30am on Thursday, June 15, when they were alerted to a suspicious vehicle.

After the vehicle was stopped, it was searched by the Police's Dog Unit.
A large amount of suspected class A drugs were found alongside a small amount of suspected cannabis.

Officers also located a knife hidden within the car.
The 36-year-old man from Greater London was arrested on suspicion of intent to supply class A drugs, possession of class B drugs and possession of a bladed article.
He remains in custody and enquiries continue.
