Seven miles of traffic queues were reported after a crash between two cars in east London during rush hour.
Police were called to the westbound carriageway of A13 (Newham Way) near Prince Regent Lane in Canning Town just before 7am this morning (July 3).
A spokesperson for the Met Police confirmed that the crash involved two cars but that there were no reports of any injuries.
Lane closures have been in place since police arrived at the scene, with two lanes blocked off.
AA traffic alerts reported that the crash caused long delays on the A13, with seven miles of queuing traffic.
These queues stretched through Barking and Dagenham all the way up to Rainham.
Police said that enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash continue.
