The Boundary Commission for England has published its final recommendations for new parliamentary constituency boundaries in Havering.
The planned new boundaries wouls reshape constituencies across east London and the rest of the country.
The Recorder previously reported that the commission backtracked on plans to move Emerson Park into the Romford parliamentary constituency after resident opposition.
The borough of Havering lies within three constituencies; Romford, Hornchurch and Upminster and Dagenham and Rainham.
Romford
Under initial proposals, Romford was to take on all of Emerson Park from Hornchurch and Upminster and lose part of Hylands ward to the same constituency.
But under final recommendations it does not take on all of Emerson Park and retains Hylands.
Romford does take on a small west portion of Emerson Park under final recommendations.
Hornchurch and Upminster
The commission initally proposed that all of Emerson Park, now part of Hornchurch and Upminster, would be taken over by Romford.
It initially proposed that Hornchurch would gain part of Hylands from Romford.
However, under final recommendations, Hornchurch and Upminster keeps most of Emerson Park and Romford retains the entirety of Hylands.
A small part of Emerson Park is lost to Romford under final recommendations.
Hornchurch and Upminster also loses small parts of St Andrews ward and Hacton ward to Dagenham and Rainham under final recommendations.
Dagenham and Rainham
Under initial proposals, Dagenham and Rainham gained Valence ward from Barking, but lost Chadwell Heath ward to the Ilford South constituency.
Final recommendations show it gaining Valence Ward from Barking and gaining small parts of Hacton Ward and St. Andrews ward from Hornchurch and Upminster.

Tim Bowden, secretary to the commission, said: “We have taken into account over 60,000 public comments, travelled the country, and heard many passionate views about how best to reflect local community ties in our recommendations."
This followed the submission of its final recommendations to the speaker of the House of Commons on June 27 and that report has since been laid before parliament.

“We are confident that our final recommendations are the best reflection of the statutory rules Parliament has set us,” Mr Bowden added.
The commission has now fulfilled its statutory responsibilities and the report submission ends its involvement in the review.
The Government has four months to bring forward an order to give effect to the final recommendations, the commission said.
