A 20-year-old man from Sutton has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm after an assault at Fever nightclub in Epsom.
Surrey Police were called to the scene at around 2.30am on Saturday morning (August 26) following reports of an altercation on the dancefloor.
The incident took place at around 2.15am between two groups of people near the main stage.
A 19-year-old man from Banstead received first aid at the nightclub before being taken to the hospital for further treatment.

A spokesperson for Surrey Police said: “Officers were called to Fever nightclub in Epsom at around 02.30am this morning, Saturday 26 August, after reports were made of an alleged assault.
“As part of our ongoing investigation we are appealing for any witnesses to an altercation on the main dancefloor that took place at around 2.15am, near the main stage, between two groups of people.
“A 19-year-old man from Banstead received first aid at the nightclub and was taken to hospital by officers to receive further treatment.
“A 20-year-old man from Sutton was arrested at the nightclub on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and remains in police custody at this time.
