Half term has hit Sutton and there are a range of activities for children to enjoy.
From trampolining to tree-top challenges, there's something to suit every taste.
We’ve compiled a list of five things to do this half-term in Sutton.
The Sound Lounge
The Sound Lounge, on Sutton High Street, is a vegetarian restaurant that also puts on live music, hence its name.
As well as aiming to be the first carbon neutral grassroots music venue, it is also an art centre, with a gallery wall.
Its menu offers a range of dishes including pizzas, vegan burgers, ciabattas, salads, and daily specials.
There are also a range of cakes and baked goods on offer, including sausage rolls.
It's open every day this half term from 10am to 10pm.
Sutton Trampoline Park
Sutton Trampoline Park, in Sutton Sports Village on Rose Hill, is a great place for kids to jump around and burn off that energy.
There are trampolines on the walls and floors, as well as other fun things like foam pits and trick zones.
One mother on TripAdvisor said: “We have visited the new trampolining park it's great fun and rest and clean.”
Sutton Trampoline Park is the first in Sutton, and is open every day this half term from as early as 6.30am and closes at 9.30pm.
Escape from the Room
Families and friends can have a “challenging and exciting experience" at Escape from the Room.
Visitors have to solve puzzles and mysteries in an escape room, while there are also board games for families to enjoy together.
The owners said: “More than just an escape room venue.
“The opportunity to play a choice of escape room games or spend an evening with family/friends having a drink and enjoying a large selection of board games.”
A happy TripAdvisor customer said: “Amazing service and great fun.
“Let us in as soon as we got there and staff were helpful as we completed the escape room.”
Escape the Room can be found at 23 Merrow Road, Ewell, and is open for bookings every day from 10am to 10pm.
Yellow Spider Climbing
Yellow Spider Climbing, also known as Craggy Island, is a place where kids and adults can go climbing.
There are different climbing routes and you can rent equipment, while there is also a gym and a café for refreshments.
One review says: “I really like this centre - both the climbing and bouldering sessions are good fun!
“They make sure you’re fully instructed on how to safely climb before they allow you on the walls and provide you with chalk, a helmet and climbing shoes.”
Yellow Spider Climbing is at Oaks Sports Centre, Woodmansterne Road, Banstead.
Spill the Beans Café
Spill the Beans Cafe, which is at Beeches Baptist Church in Carshalton Beeches, will be hosting two free cake decorating sessions tomorrow (October 25).
Booking is essential.
Kids up to 11 years old, including older siblings, can join in.
Kids can decorate cakes with icing and sprinkles, while parents can enjoy drinks and delicious homemade cakes.
