Blue House Art Space, located in Esher, is a beautiful and integrative space in which artists can create art, exhibit work, meet artists and foster expression in a creative collective. I was able to ask Parul, one of the founding artists questions about their remarkable project. “Founded by five talented artists with years of combined varied art experience and inspired by the Mexican revolutionary and Artist Frida Khalo, whose home, Casa Azul - Blue House- was a place where artists and philosophers experienced creativity and fulfilment.” The inspiration behind Blue House is beautifully integral. Parul expressed her feelings of excitement to further develop her talents as an Artist when discussing what lead to the decision of taking part in the creation of Blue House, “Saying yes to Blue House was instinctive, I knew I wanted to enrich my art practice by meeting artists in person. With Blue house i have received a place in a community of creative thinkers, where making art is an integral part of who we are.” Parul’s passion for art is practically contagious, and listening to her speak about Blue House is truly insightful, as she expresses the fact that Blue House is truly a community-based project. The team of founding artists plan for Blue House to provide an enriching space on Esher High Street for those in the community who are well versed, or brand new to the world of art to have the opportunity to immerse themselves into a creative, mindful, and welcoming environment.
