A county line drug dealer who supplied crack cocaine and heroin in London and Bexleyheath has been jailed for seven years.
In October 2022, Kent Police began an investigation into the ‘H’ county drugs line which was supplying the area with class A drugs.
Police identified a mobile number which was being used to send bulk text messages and later found that the number was linked to Norman Samura, of Spindle Close in Woolwich.
On Thursday June 1, 2023 officers attended the 25-year-old’s home where they carried out a search under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
When inside, police found the phone used to send the text messages.
They also found deal bags containing white powder, and white and yellow pills.
The search revealed a ‘hide’ in the living room and inside this hide officers found cash and deal bags.
Police also found three car keys, each for a BMW, An Alpha Romeo and a Hyundai Ioniq in the hide.
Officers confirmed that the cars were on false plates and that each vehicle had been reported stolen from homes in London and Bexleyheath between Monday April 3 and Wednesday, May 10 2023.
Samura was arrested and later charged with possession with intent to supply crack cocaine, being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin and three charges of handling stolen goods.
He admitted the charges and on Friday October 27 was jailed at Maidstone Crown Court for four years.
He was handed an additional sentence of three years after he admitted similar offences in Surrey.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Michael Nolan said: “We work hard to prevent and disrupt county line drug dealers supplying drugs across Kent.
“Samura is a prolific drug dealer who thinks nothing of supplying cocaine and heroin to vulnerable drug users in order to financially profit.
“We will continue to target those supplying drugs and to ensure they are held accountable for their criminality.”
