Surbiton High school have put on a fantastic performance of the musical Oliver! The performance was performed by the Surbiton’s Prep schools , the high school and also the sixth form. From the 16th to the 18th of November , the school put on four performances at the New Wimbledon theatre.
Oliver is a musical by Charles Dickens of a young boy called Oliver. Oliver, a young orphaned, searches his way through London trying to find a home, joining a street gang of child pickpocketing and many more adventures.
The musical was arranged by the Head of the music department, who did an absolutely wonderful job of arranging the performance along with the Drama and Art department. The main character of Oliver was played by a year 8 from the high school, which has never happened before yet they a brilliant job.
