Conjugation Cup

The battle of the conjugators

The annual conjugation cup was held in City of London Freemens School on Thursday 16th of November. It was organized for the three languages studied at the school: French, Spanish and German, which were all well attended.

What does it consist of?

It is a competition which allows older students to showcase their knowledge of verbs and tenses as well as being a chance for them to improve their grammar skills.

 This year it was attended by year 10, 11, 12 and 13 students, with the only year 10 participant ending up as the winner of the Spanish cup.

It was enjoyed by many, including the Spanish cup’s runner up;

“It was an enjoyable experience and I had lots of fun. I think it definitely helped improve my grammar a lot as we had to learn how to conjugate 100 verbs! It was tiring, but worth it for the lollipops we all got for participating.”

We can’t wait for next year!
