A sushi restaurant in Woolwich has applied for a license to sell alcohol.

Mr Thardo Ngawang, for and on behalf of Kaiiro LTD, has applied to the Royal Borough of Greenwich Council for a premises license at IRO Sushi, located at 15 Anglesea Road.

A premises licenses allows particular venues to offer entertainment and other activities including the selling of alcohol.

The full details of the application include selling alcohol daily between the hours of 12pm and 10pm, as well as authorising playing of unamplified recorded music.

A record of this application may be inspected by appointment.

Tomorrow (November 27) is the last day members of the public can give their feedback on the licensing.

As details on the Public Notice Portal the application is for a variation of a premises licence.

Representations can only be made on the grounds of one or more of the four licensing objectives, namely:

• Prevention of Crime and Disorder

• Prevention of Public Nuisance

• Public Safety

• Protection of Children from Harm.

Any person who makes a false statement in connection with an application is liable on summary conviction to an unlimited fine.
