Michele’s Dance Club has been up and running for 17 years now and hopefully many more to come!
Based on 74a High St in Cheshunt, Michele’s Dance Club is suitable for any age above 4 years old and offers a fun, affordable way to learn new dancing skills.
Ms Maguire has been dancing since the age of five and her love for teaching and getting people to learn to love dance inspired her to start her own school. The dance school offers Ballroom and Latin dances and for any children learning to dance Freestyle is also available.
Like for the majority of us Covid hit Ms Maguire hard. Due to the constant anxiety of being in close contact, business became a slow and hard climb for Michele. As well as this, people had become so used to the two years of staying in the confinement of their home that finally being allowed out and around people had just become so unnatural to most.
However business is starting to get better for Michele; her aim is to make dance a more sociable, interesting and fun activity to partake in. Her main hope is to start to encourage the adults more and get them to participate in exams to help to become better dancers.
One dancer commented that “Michele is an excellent teacher who has incredible faith for those she teaches. She is determined to help you become the best dancer you can be and encourages you in the best way possible”

Children’s classes are held on Saturdays from 10am-11am- costing £5 per child.
Social nights are held on Saturday evenings costing £18 per couple.
