Happy New Year everyone!!
Many people are unable to wrap their heads around how it's 2024 already- as I am to be completely honest. It only felt like it was 2020 the other day, when there was a whole pandemic and when quarantine as well as isolation had to take place. 2020 was not that year at all.
Living in London definitely has its advantages from time to time- the new years display definitely having to be one of them. London definitely outdid itself this year. The fireworks were absolutely beautiful.
The crowding and the route to the fireworks as well as going back home was a completely different story though. It was absolute chaos. Of course though, that isn't too surprising since everyone has the exact same idea on new years, and that is to start the year off with a bang, watching the fireworks surrounded by loved ones. That'll definetely determine people to start committing to their new year resolutions haha.
The crowd was surreal, it felt amazing, from the people counting down to the euphoria spreading throughout the atmosphere. The city became alive with bursts of vibrant colors and lights that filled the night sky. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement and joy as the crowd cheered and celebrated the arrival of the new year. It's a magical experience that leaves everyone in awe.
In my opinion, If you ever get the chance, I highly recommend checking out the fireworks in London on New Year's Day, make sure you don't miss them next year !
Happy New year everyone!
