If you’re looking for a dog-friendly spot in Battersea serving delicious pancakes and cocktails this Pancake Day – I’ve found the perfect place.

Located in Battersea Rise, The Table is a casual and relaxed brunch spot offering all your favourites from pancakes and eggs benedict to brunch burgers and waffles.

They also have a second location in Southwark in south east London too.

I was invited there along with a friend to try out their brunch menu ahead of Pancake Day, and I have to say after one visit – I know I’ll be going back.

Their pancake menu has some great options whether you prefer sweet or savoury, along with a vegan option too.

If you’re more of a waffle person, they also have the option to add your toppings to waffles as well.

One thing I love about the place is that it’s dog-friendly, I am a guide dog owner so she comes everywhere with me.

But it’s nice to find spots where they have large dog bowls and welcome all dogs if you’re looking to bring your furry friend along.

Brunch at The Table is served between 9am and 4pm, with prices starting at £9 for mains and £10 for cocktails.

The drinks menu also has an array of non-alcoholic options like tea, coffee, juices and milkshakes, to alcoholic options including 20 different cocktails to choose from.

My friend and I both opted to try one of their specials, which was the Raspberry Bramble, being my go-to cocktail I wanted to try a different spin on the drink.

For food I went for the Perfect Pear – a stack of pancakes served with cinnamon poached pear, mascarpone cream, shortbread crumb and chocolate sauce.

My friend tried the Very Berries waffles served with fresh strawberries, blueberry compote, summer berries sauce, crème fraiche and maple syrup.

The portion sizes at The Table are very generous for the prices which is one thing I can attest to.

I have to say the pancakes were truly delicious, the crisp sweetness of the pear went so well against the rich chocolate sauce.

It would never have been a combination I’d have considered, but I enjoyed every mouthful and this would definitely be something I’d order again.

My friend also loved the waffles and said they were a good mixture of texture and flavours with the different berries and cream.

We also ordered a side of hash browns to share, and they were very good, crispy on the outside and nicely salted.

All in all, if you’re looking for a dog-friendly spot with a great selection of brunch options and cocktails this Pancake Day, The Table is definitely somewhere I’d recommend and will be visiting again in the future.
