Police have released CCTV images after a bag was stolen from a train at Clapham Junction.
Police were called just before 5pm on Thursday, March 7, after a man boarded a train at Clapham Junction and took another passenger’s bag from the luggage rack and immediately left the train with it.
Officers believe the man in the CCTV may be able to help them with their investigation.
Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 522 of 7 March.
A spokesperson for the British Transport Police said: “Officers believe the man in the CCTV may be able to help them with their investigation.
“Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 522 of 7 March.
“Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
