A person has died in Hornchurch after an incident which saw emergency crews, including London's Air Ambulance, scrambled to the scene.
Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service (LAS) were dispatched to Cornwall Close at 1.09pm today (May 20), a spokesperson confirmed.
London's Air Ambulance, a charity that responds to London's most critically ill patients, was sent out to support ambulance crews.

The patient was given treatment but was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Social media usersreported seeing a large emergency service presence in the area.
The Metropolitan Police has been contacted for a comment to confirm the nature of the incident.
