A woman has been banned from a historic association representing users of a ladies' swimming pond in Hampstead Heath after she objected to trans women being allowed to swim there, according to a report.
Venice Allan became the first woman to be banned from The Kenwood Ladies' Pond Association (KLPA) after criticising the group's decision to continue allowing transgender women to swim in the pond, The Mail reported.
The 48-year-old was officially stripped of her membership last week via an email from the KLPA.
According to the email, the report said, her membership with the historic group was revoked due to her "deliberately acting against the interests" of the KLPA.
Ms Allan, a swimmer at the pond for more than 20 years, got the group's annual general meeting in March shut down, after standing on a chair and shouting at the other members.

She criticised their decision to reject a motion which would only allow those "born female in sex" to use the ladies' pond, accusing them of making " male violence" possible.

The KLPA is a body of women who protect the interests of the ladies' pond and represent the users' views to the City of London Corporation, the administrators of the pond.
Reacting to her ban, Ms Allan told the Mail on Sunday: "I'm not banned from the pond, but the ban means I can no longer vote on any of the rules.
"More importantly banning me sends a message – just a year before we celebrate 100 years of this iconic women's space – that women who object to men using the pool are not welcome."
