Drivers in Bexley are set to face delays of up to 30 minutes due to two upcoming road closures on the A2.

Both are scheduled by the National Highways and are expected to cause moderate disruptions with drivers facing holdups of between 10 and 30 minutes.

These have been announced in the latest works list by National Highways.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.

Here is the list of closures.

• A2, from 10pm June 11 to 5am June 13, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A2 westbound, Darenth Interchange to Old Bexley Lane, Lane closure for vegetation works.

• A2, from 10.30pm June 16 to 5am June 21, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A2 eastbound, Bourne Interchange to Old Bexley Lane, carriageway and slip road closure for VRS works, diversion via National Highways and local authority network.
