On a summer Saturday in London, who isn’t partial to a cheeky pint to soak up the sun.

And what’s even more fun is spending you Saturday on a pub crawl, so that you can sample lots of different drinks at a variety of pubs and potentially finding a new favourite spot.

Lewisham is rife with amazing pubs that south east Londoners all love for different reasons and what’s great for pub crawlers is that they are all easily walkable from one another.

1. Joiners Arms

Start at the Joiners Arms for your first drink.

This is an Irish pub with a homely feel with lots of chatty regulars.

The pub has a darts board, a juke box and lots of TV screens for those wanting to watch some sport.

2. The Watch House

The Watch House is a Wetherspoons pub you can find on Lewisham High Street.

A unique feature of this pub is that it’s filled with lots of little bookcases tucked away around the pub and it also has a dragon statue in the middle.

3. The Fox and Firkin

Slightly further down the High Street, you will find The Fox and Firkin.

The Fox and Firkin doubles up as a music venue as well as a pub, often hosting events and putting up a stage in the garden behind the bar.

But there is also a bar area if you are just wanting a simple pint as you crawl across Lewisham.

The bar area has gothic chandeliers and almost feels like an old ballroom.

4. The Jolly Farmer

A hop, skip and a jump from The Fox and Firkin is The Jolly Farmer.

The Jolly Farmer is another pub loved by locals where bar staff know their regulars by name.

This pub is another with a beer garden in the back, perfect for a summer evening, and airs live sports as well as running quiz nights.

There are even cute illustrations on the walls throughout the pub, giving it some gorgeous life and colour.

5. Ladywell Tavern

If you are still standing, then you have to head around the corner to the Ladywell Tavern at this point.

It’s a cool and quirky pub that hands art on the wall by local artists which is all for sale, so you can peruse while you drink.

The wall behind the bar is covered with portraits of famous, female musicians to keep in with the theme of music throughout the pub.

It often hosts live music and open mic nights and even has a guitar for impromptu performances.
