Two people have been taken to hospital after two cars crashed in Carshalton.

Emergency services were called to Wrythe Lane just before 3pm today (June 12) to reports of a crash.

Police and ambulance attended the scene.

Two people were treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.

Their conditions are believed not to be life-threatening.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “It was two cars in collision.

“No life-threatening injuries.”

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 2.43pm today (June 12) to reports of a road traffic collision on Wrythe Lane, Carshalton.

“We sent ambulance crews and they arrived on the scene in approximately five minutes.

“We treated two patients at the scene and took them both to hospital.”
