A man has been taken to hospital after an incident on a busy road in Lewisham.

Emergency services were called to Loampit Vale in Lewisham yesterday (July 6) at around 3pm.

An ambulance was dispatched to the scene.

One person, a man, was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.

We have contacted Metropolitan Police for further information.

A spokesperson fir London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 3.06pm on Saturday 6 July to reports of an incident in Loampit Vale, Lewisham.

“We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew.

“We treated a man at the scene, before taking him to hospital.”
