Some Southeastern trains will be cancelled, diverted or replaced by buses this weekend as England play in the Euros final due to planned engineering work.

The work will affect trains on Saturday, July 13 and Sunday, July 14.

We have compiled all of the details on these works so that you can plan your journey this week.

Buses replace trains between Sittingbourne and Sheerness-on-sea (Saturday, July 13 and Sunday, July 14)

Major engineering work is taking place to the Kingsferry Bridge near Swale, closing the line between Sittingbourne and Sheerness-on-Sea.

Accessible buses will replace trains between:

  • Sittingbourne and Sheerness-on-Sea calling at Queenborough only
  • Sittingbourne and Kemsley minibus shuttle

Swale station will be closed and cannot be served by replacement buses because of the closure of Kingsferry Bridge.

Journey times will be significantly increased, and buses between Sittingbourne and Sheerness-on-Sea will take approximately 60 minutes.

Amended service through Lewisham (Saturday, July 13 and Sunday, July 14)

Saturday

Bexleyheath Line:

Trains between London Victoria and Gravesend will not run.

Additional trains will run between London Charing Cross and Dartford via Bexleyheath.

Hayes Line:

Trains between London Charing Cross and Hayes will not stop at Lewisham.

Sidcup Line:

Trains between London Charing Cross and Dartford via Sidcup will not stop at Lewisham.

Grove Park Line:

Trains between London Charing Cross and Sevenoaks will not call at Lewisham.

Sunday

Bexleyheath Line:

Trains between London Victoria and Dartford will not run.

Trains between London Cannon Street and Slade Green via Bexleyheath will not stop at Lewisham and will be diverted to run via Sidcup, calling at all stations between Hither Green and Slade Green.

Hayes Line:

Trains between London Charing Cross and Hayes will not stop at Lewisham.

Sidcup Line:

Trains between London Charing Cross and Dartford via Sidcup will not stop at Lewisham.

Grove Park Line:

Trains between London Charing Cross and Sevenoaks will not call at Lewisham.

Replacement buses:

Replacement buses will run on Sunday only between:

New Cross and Dartford via Bexleyheath, calling at all stations.

You can use the following alternative services at no extra cost:

  • Docklands Light Railway between Lewisham and Greenwich
  • London Underground between London Victoria, London Charing Cross, Embankment, London Cannon Street, London Waterloo, Southwark, and London Bridge

London Bus routes:

  • P12 & 78 between Peckham Rye & Nunhead
  • 21, 225 & 273 between Hither Green, Lewisham and New Cross
  • P4, 284 & 122 between Lewisham and Ladywell

No Southeastern services to / from London Victoria (Sunday, July 14)

Engineering work is taking place in the London Victoria area, closing some lines.

Trains will be diverted to London Cannon Street or London Blackfriars.

Sole Street Line:

Trains between London Victoria and Ramsgate / Dover Priory via Chatham will run from London Cannon Street instead, and run non stop between London Bridge and St Mary Cray.

Maidstone East Line:

Trains between London Victoria and Ashford International via Maidstone East will run from London Cannon Street instead, and run non stop between London Bridge and St Mary Cray.

Bromley South Line:

Trains between London Victoria and Orpington will run from London Blackfriars, calling additionally at Elephant & Castle. Brixton station will be closed all day.

Bexleyheath Line:

Trains between London Victoria and Dartford via Bexleyheath will not run.

Additional trains will run between London Charing Cross and Slade Green via Bexleyheath because of further engineering work at Dartford.

Ticket Acceptance:

You can use London Underground at no extra cost between London Victoria, Brixton, Elephant & Castle, London Blackfriars, London Charing Cross, Embankment, London Cannon Street, London Bridge, Southwark & Waterloo.

Passengers can use Thameslink services at no extra cost between London Blackfriars, Bromley South and Sevenoaks.
