An Indian restaurant in Bexleyheath is one of the finalists for Curry Restaurant of the Year 2024 in the south east of England.

Masala Inn can be found in Bexleyheath Broadway and prides itself on offering customers “a journey” when they visit the restaurant.

They said that visiting Masala Inn is “nostalgic” and will fill diners with “curiosity, discovery and adventure”.

On August 19, the winner will be crowned in a ceremony hosted by Oceanic Consulting.

This is the thirteenth year that the English Curry Awards are being held to celebrate Asian talent across the English curry industry.

The awards ceremony will be held in Birmingham to “highlight the growth of the Asian curry sector and recognise the achievements of those who work their hardest to perfect every meal”.

Chefs, restaurants, managers, takeaways, teams and schools will receive awards.

A spokesperson for The English Curry Awards 2024 said: “The curry campaign has been hugely successful across the UK with Scottish, English, London and National editions to the awards. The 2024 English Curry Awards will be a brilliant night of fun, curry food and celebration.

“In a country with so many food establishments and businesses, it can be hard to stand out.

“However, the 2024 finalists have all been distinguished as the real masters in their field due to their hard work and dedication to customer satisfaction.

“Moreover, their success isn’t just about their dedication to leaving every customer satisfied.

“It’s also a story that reflects the resilience and creativity of countless chefs, restaurants, employees and managers who are always ensuring that locals and visitors eat outstanding curries.

“We have an abundance of talent and fierce competition this year and we wish best of luck to all finalists.”
