New flats could be created above a phone shop in Camden High Street.

The application was one of many submitted to Camden Council between July 22 and July 29 in the Ham & High readership area.

The council is currently reviewing each application and has yet to make a decision on any of them.

In Camden High Street, there are plans to create two new flats above the Vodafone store (2024/3100/P).

According to the plans, the first and second floors above the shop are unoccupied, and do not currently have permission to be used for housing.

In Chalk Farm, there are plans to build a back extension to a house in St Ann’s Gardens (2024/2559/P).

Another extension is planned for a property in Kilburn High Road (2024/2632/P).

A similar proposal suggests a back extension to a house in Hawtrey Road, Primrose Hill (2024/3027/P).

The same applicant has also asked for permission to add an extra storey to the house (2024/3045/P).

Two flats could be knocked together to provide a single home, under one application submitted for a property in The Grove, Highgate (2024/2855/P).

There are plans for a new permanent art installation in the streets around Regent’s Park (2024/2978/P).

The ‘Story Trail’ art project will see more than a dozen installations by different artists created between Longford Street and Mackworth Street.

In South Hampstead, there are plans to build a roof extension to Embassy House in West End Lane to create six new flats (2024/2063/P).
