Banksy has unveiled yet another animal artwork in London – days after one piece of art was stolen.

This time, the elusive artist shared a picture on Instagram showing his latest work, near Lidl in Edgware Road, Cricklewood.

It shows a silhouette of a large cat stretching on a billboard.

The artist has been posting new artworks each day this week, showing different types of animals such as monkeys, a wolf, pelicans, elephants and a goat.

Yesterday (August 9), he unveiled a piece showing pelicans apparently eating fish from the sign of a Walthamstow chip shop.

But it was the wolf design on a satellite dish in Peckham on Thursday (August 8) that grabbed headlines, as the dish was removed and carried off by three men soon after it appeared, according to witnesses.

A statement from the Metropolitan Police said: “We were called to reports of a stolen satellite dish containing artwork at 1.52pm on Thursday August 8 in Rye Lane, Peckham.

“There have been no arrests. Inquiries continue.”

A spokesman for Banksy said the artist is neither connected to nor endorses the theft, and that they have “no knowledge as to the dish’s current whereabouts”.
