The famed Duke of Greenwich pub invites people to raise their glasses at its much-anticipated Beer Fest this September.

Offering a prime opportunity to toast the end of the summer season, the all-day event commences at 12pm on Saturday, September 14, and runs through till 11pm.

Taking place in the Duke’s sprawling beer garden, each participating brewery will have its own stand, outfitted with taps, kegs, and featuring their top brews.

Undoubtedly, this event is a must for both seasoned connoisseurs and those wishing to explore London's esteemed craft beer landscape.

Guests can purchase a ticket for just £10, which also entitles them to a complimentary pint of house lager, a branded tasting glass, and access to beer tasters from the festival's suppliers.

The festival line-up warrants excitement and includes brew houses such as Bermondsey's Bianca Road Brew Co; the Wimbledon-based By The Horns Brewing Co.; Herne Hill's The Bullfinch Brewery; Mitcham's fresh and flavourful Drop Project; Ignition Brewery from Lewisham; London Beer Lab in Brixton; and Battersea-owned Mondo Brewing Company.

Guests can look forward to a variety of flavoursome brews.

Adding an international zest is the introduction of Tooeasybeverages’ margaritas, promising to offer a fun and high-quality alternative for those keen on a change of pace.

Lucinda and James, founders of Tooeasybeverages, have harnessed their talent in developing small batches of top-tier, thoughtfully created margaritas.

Although unable to attend in person, other breweries will also have their premium brews featured at the event.

This includes Bermondsey's Kernel Brewery and Anspach & Hobday; Distortion Brewery from Battersea; Erith's Bexley Brewery; and Deptford's Villages Brewery.

Behind the scenes, the team orchestrating the event includes food and drink connoisseurs Jonathan Kaye, Nick Blucert, and Dan Blucert.

Their passion for lively food and drinks scenes remains evident in their work, with their other venture The Jolly Gardeners in Vauxhall having received an Observer Food Monthly nomination.

Mr Blucert, Executive Chef of The Duke, has put together a menu that complements the diverse array of craft beers.

As he has been relishing al fresco cooking and dining over the summer, expect a range of tasty wraps.

Menu highlights range from crispy fried Korean short rib wrap and BBQ cauliflower wings, to curried lamb belly, grilled pollock, and smoked BBQ chicken.

Entry tickets are available at the door or can be booked online via Eventbrite.
