The grounds of Kenwood will once again be thrown over to talks, workshops and debate as the FTWeekend Festival returns next month.
Now in its ninth year, the one day event takes place this year in marquees in front of the English Heritage mansion on Saturday 7 September.
The line up of speakers includes Dragon's Den star Deborah Meaden, multi-award-winning actor John Lithgow, Secretary of State for Health and Social Care Wes Streeting, Chairman of The John Lewis Partnership, Dame Sharon White, and skincare and beauty mogul, Sarah Chapman.
Gospel Oak-based writer and presenter Michael Palin, Today programme presenter Mishal Husain, actors Simon Russell Beale and Lesley Sharp, and best-selling authors Robert Harris and Bella Mackie are also slated to appear at the event.
Ticketholders can take part in a series of interactive experiences including a 45-minute still-life group workshop with artist Nancy Cadogan, wine tasting with Jancis Robinson, and a martini-making masterclass with Alice Lascelles and Ago Perrone, director of mixology at The Connaught.
Spearheaded by FT Weekend’s editor, Janine Gibson, the festival showcases the best of the news and features journalism in the pages of the FT and FT Weekend - exploring big ideas in politics economics and climate as well as wellness, life and literature, food and drink, travel, house and home, travel, tech and money across ten stages.
Distinguished journalists, including editor Roula Khalaf, chief foreign affairs columnist Gideon Rachman, chief economics commentator Martin Wolf, HTSI editor Jo Ellison, and UK chief political commentator Robert Shrimsley will be sharing their expertise while there's also a pub quiz led by the FT News briefing team.
