A Christmas tree which has been put up in Bromley is set to be featured in a brand-new American movie.
The fully decorated tree complete with baubles was spotted in High Street, Bromley yesterday (August 29).
Frances Forrest, BID manager at Your Bromley, confirmed that the tree will feature in the film, Pillion.
He explained: “We would like to reassure anyone who thinks that Christmas has come to Bromley early that the tree and decorations are in place for the filming only.
“We are excited that Bromley town centre will feature in the film ‘Pillion’.
“We have been in contact with the film location team ahead of filming and all businesses in the area have been notified.”
The film, starring Alexander Skarsgard and Harry Melling, is being filmed in the south-east London town over the summer.
The display also stunned shoppers on their trip to the town centre, with many sharing photos of it on social media.
One person wrote on X (formally known Twitter): "A Christmas tree in August?!
"Never thought, I'd see it."
Another one said: "A Christmas tree already? Everyone is still enjoying summer."
It is unknown when the film will be available for viewing, according to IMDb.
