Some Southeastern trains will be cancelled, diverted or replaced by buses this week due to planned engineering work.

The work will affect trains on Sunday, September 8.

We have compiled all of the details on these works so that you can plan your journey this week.

Buses replace trains between Canterbury West / Deal and Ramsgate (Sunday, September 8)

Engineering work is taking place between Canterbury West / Deal and Ramsgate, closing all lines.

The following services are affected:

  • Paddock Wood Line: Trains between London Charing Cross and Ramsgate via Ashford International will run between London Charing Cross and Canterbury West only.
  • Highspeed via Ashford: Trains between London St Pancras International and Margate via Canterbury West will run between London St Pancras International and Canterbury West only.
  • Trains between London St Pancras International and Ramsgate via Dover Priory will run between London St Pancras International and Deal only.

Accessible replacement bus services will operate between:

  • Canterbury West and Margate, calling at Thanet Parkway, Ramsgate and Broadstairs
  • Canterbury West and Ramsgate, calling at all stations
  • Deal and Ramsgate, calling at Sandwich

No Southeastern services to / from London Victoria (Sunday, September 8)

Engineering work is taking place at London Victoria, closing some lines.

No Southeastern service will run to / from London Victoria, trains will be diverted to London Cannon Street or London Blackfriars.

Sole Street Line: Trains between London Victoria and Ramsgate / DoverPriory via Chatham will run from London Cannon Street instead, and run non stop between London Bridge and St Mary Cray / Swanley.

Maidstone East Line: Trains between London Victoria and Ashford International via Maidstone East will run from London Cannon Street instead, and run non stop between London Bridge and St Mary Cray.

Bromley South Line: Trains between London Victoria and Orpington will run from London Blackfriars, calling additionally at Elephant & Castle. Brixton station will be closed all day.

Bexleyheath Line: Trains between London Victoria and Dartford via Bexleyheath will not run.

Ticket Acceptance:

Passengers can use London Underground at no extra cost between Victoria, Brixton, Elephant & Castle, Blackfriars, Charing Cross, Embankment, Cannon Street, London Bridge, Southwark and Waterloo.

Passengers can use Thameslink services at no extra cost between London Blackfriars, Bromley South and Sevenoaks.

Buses replace trains between Tunbridge Wells and Battle (Sunday, September 8)

Engineering work is taking place between Tunbridge Wells and Battle, closing all lines.

Trains will only be able to run between London Charing Cross and Tunbridge Wells.

Additional trains will run between Battle and Hastings.

Accessible replacement buses will run between:

  • Tunbridge Wells and Battle calling at Wadhurst only
  • Tunbridge Wells and Battle calling at all stations.

Buses replace trains between Slade Green / Sidcup and Gravesend (Sunday, September 8)

Engineering work is taking place in the Dartford area, closing some lines.

Woolwich Line: Trains between London Cannon Street and Slade Green via Woolwich are not affected and will run normally.

Bexleyheath Line: Services between London Victoria and Dartford will not run. Trains between London Cannon Street and Slade Green via Bexleyheath are not affected and will run normally.

Sidcup Line: Trains between London Charing Cross and Gravesend will not run. Trains between London Charing Cross and Dartford via Sidcup will only run between London Charing Cross and Sidcup.

Accessible buses will run between:

  • Slade Green and Gravesend calling at all stations.
  • Sidcup and Dartford calling at all stations.
