With summer almost officially at an end, Peckham is set to play host to a popular free festival over this weekend featuring film screenings, workshops, music and more.
Taking place in Copeland Park along with a number of other nearby locations such as the Bussey Building, Blenheim Grove and Holdrons Green, Peckham Festival is a free event running this weekend, from today (September 13) until Sunday (September 15).
Some of this year's highlights include sets from AQWEA and Marcia Carr, along with performances from Peckham Chamber Orchestra on the main stage.
This year marks the popular festival's 9th year running and will feature a full program of events ranging from dance and music performances by acts such as Zaiah Arts and flutist Chrisara Agor to workshops, talks and film screenings held at Rooftop Film Club.
You can also find a range of exhibitions dotted around Peckham over the weekend, from the 948 festival held at Unit 08 that explores the dynamic changing landscape of Britain, as well as Peckham - The Market, curated by festival directors Danny Bailey and Alizée Ndiaye, which explores the creative and cultural landscape of Peckham.

As well as performances and workshops, there will also be a host ofThe Creative Impact Club will also be joining the festivities with The Festival of Impact, where you can find a live DJ set, vegan food served by The Vegan Rasta and free workshops.
This non-profit festival showcases a range of artists, musicians and local businesses in a fun-packed two-day festival of events.
Entry to the festival is free with some events ticketed and will be spread out over a number of venues across Peckham from September 13 – September 15.
