Some Southeastern trains will be cancelled, diverted or replaced by buses this week due to planned engineering work.

The work will affect trains on September 28 and September 29.

We have compiled all of the details on these works so that you can plan your journey this week.

No trains via Swanley (Saturday, September 28 and Sunday, September 29)

Engineering work is taking place between Bickley and Rochester, closing all lines through Swanley.

Southeastern:

Saturday:

Sole Street Line: Trains between London Victoria and Ramsgate / Dover Priory via Chatham and will be diverted to run non stop between London Victoria and Strood.

Stopping services between London Victoria and Gillingham via Denmark Hill will not run.

Maidstone East Line: Trains between London Victoria and Ashford International via Maidstone East will only run between Borough Green & Wrotham and Ashford International.

Trains between London Charing Cross and Maidstone East will not run.

If you are travelling to / from Maidstone East, you should use alternative trains between London Bridge and Chislehurst to connect to the replacement bus to Borough Green & Wrotham.

Bexleyheath Line: Trains between London Charing Cross and Dartford via Bexleyheath will not run.

Additional trains will run between London Victoria and Bromley South via Denmark Hill.

Sunday:

Sole Street Line: Trains between London Victoria and Ramsgate via Chatham will be diverted to run non-stop between London Victoria and Strood.

At Faversham, part of the train will separate to run between Faversham and Dover Priory.

Stopping services between London Victoria and Dover Priory via Denmark Hill will not run.

Maidstone East Line: Trains between London Victoria and Ashford International via Maidstone East will only run between Borough Green & Wrotham and Ashford International.

Additional trains will run between London Victoria and Bromley South via Denmark Hill.

Accessible replacement buses will run between:

  • Bromley South and Meopham, calling at all stations.
  • Meopham and Strood non-stop.
  • Bromley South and Borough Green & Wrotham calling at Chislehurst*, St Mary Cray, Swanley, Otford and Kemsing* (* does not stop at Chislehurst and Kemsing on Sunday).
  • Meopham and Sole Street (minibus shuttle).

Thameslink:

Trains that usually run between London Blackfriars / London Victoria and Sevenoaks will be amended to run via Orpington, additionally calling at Orpington and Petts Wood.

Replacement buses will run between Bromley South and Sevenoaks via Swanley.

Buses replace trains between Dover Priory and Ramsgate (Sunday, September 29)

Engineering work is taking place between Dover Priory and Ramsgate, closing some lines.

Trains between London St Pancras International and Ramsgate via Dover Priory will only run between London St Pancras International and Dover Priory.

Accessible replacement buses will run between Dover Priory and Ramsgate calling at all stations except Thanet Parkway.

No Southeastern services at London Cannon Street or via Greenwich (Sunday, September 29)

Engineering work is taking place between London Cannon Street, London Bridge and Greenwich, and some of the lines through New Cross used by services to and from London Cannon Street, closing some lines.

Woolwich Line: Trains between London Cannon Street and Slade Green via Greenwich will not run.

Additional trains will run between London Charing Cross and Dartford via Woolwich.

Bexleyheath line: Trains between London Cannon Street and Slade Green via Bexleyheath will not run.

Trains between London Victoria and Dartford will run normally.

Accessible replacement buses will run between Lewisham and Charlton via New Cross and Greenwich.

Ticket Acceptance:

Passengers can use London Underground between Victoria, Charing Cross, Embankment, Waterloo, Southwark and London Bridge at no extra cost.

Passengers can use Docklands Light Railway between Lewisham and Greenwich at no extra cost.
