A new family-run deli is set to open in Romford this weekend.
Sabsdeli, located along Pettits Lane North, is welcoming customers from tomorrow (September 29) at 10am.
The independent cafe aims to bring "quality food and coffee" to Rise Park, with a small but unique menu.
This menu is set to feature fully loaded jacket potatoes, 16-hour smoked beef briskets in brioche buns, and freshly made sourdough sandwiches, alongside speciality coffee.
As part of the grand opening, Sabsdeli has invited firefighters from the nearby Romford Fire Station to cut the ribbon and welcome the first customers.
Owner John Metin has been in the cafe business for more than two decades, opening four other cafes before Sabsdeli, with the most recent being in Lakeside Shopping Centre.
His previous focus has been on English breakfasts and British food, however he wanted to do something "a bit different this time".

A member of the family running Sabsdeli said: "John's been in the cafe business for 21 years now, where he has been running normal British cafes.
"But now we are trying something different with a twist.
"We want to specialise in a few things rather than having a big menu."
